KNITTING 101

ABOUT THE FACILITATORS & MENTORS

Shirley is a fourth year MCB & Data Science major. She took the Knitting 101 DeCal as a freshman, and this is her fifth time facilitating the course. Knitting has been always a passion for Shirley since high school that saves her from drowning into endless bio labs and math problem sets. She particularly loves lace knitting and doing color work on her projects. Aside from binge watching crime shows while knitting accessories for her friends, Shirley enjoys cooking, singing and traveling.

Chris is a fourth year Nuclear Engineering major. He took the Knitting deCal as a freshman and has been facilitating the course ever since. He may spend most of his time working on his radiation detection research in Etcheverry Hall or up at LBNL but when he isn't, he loves playing video games or board games, or most importantly sleeping and petting dogs.
